Hi there,

I am a software engineer with around two decades of professional experience. I feed my family by freelancing (shameless plug: visit https://finkhaeuser.de/). While that pays the bills, I would much rather spend my time giving back to the community from which I gained so much for the past quarter century or so.

I have started a bunch of FOSS projects over the years, but https://github.com/jfinkhaeuser/prance/, an OpenAPI resolving parser in Python, seems to have gotten the most traction. If sponsored, I'll spend more time developing features for it.

In my career, I was lucky enough to end up helping kickstart the streaming revolution by working on the peer-to-peer video streaming stack for Joost. I'd like to start a modern version of that. That'll take a few coffees, though...
