Hi, I'm Kemal โ a senior bioreactor engineer based in Cambridge, UK.
I spent years designing bioreactors the conventional way. Then I fell for machine learning, model predictive control, and the rest of the data-science toolbox and I started writing Python to bring those ideas into bioprocess engineering, mostly on the upstream side: fermentation, cell culture, soft sensors, process modelling, and smarter control of living systems.

- Time to document, maintain, and answer questions, the unglamorous work that keeps tools usable
I'm not a full-time, hardcore developer. I'm an engineer who codes because the tools I wanted didn't exist yet. Every contribution buys more time to build good, free things for the computational biology community.
